Total Staff are recruiting on behalf of a growing business in Birkenhead for an Office Coordinator / Office Manager to support the day-to-day running of the office.

This role offers genuine flexibility on hours, making it ideal for someone looking for a role that fits around other commitments. The business is open to both part-time and full-time arrangements, with typical working patterns such as:

09:00 15:30 (approx. 30 hours per week)
09:00 17:30 (37.5 hours per week)
There is flexibility around these for the right person.

This is a varied, hands-on role that sits at the heart of the businesskeeping everything organised, supporting the wider team, and ensuring the office runs smoothly day-to-day.

Its less about managing people and more about being the go-to person who keeps things ticking over.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing the day-to-day running of the office environment
Acting as the main point of contact for general enquiries and internal support
Managing office suppliers, contractors, and service providers
Dealing with couriers, deliveries, and general admin tasks
Liaising with landlords and external providers to resolve any issues
Organising meeting rooms, diaries, and internal coordination
Supporting the Managing Director with general administrative tasks
Maintaining and updating company policies and documents
Assisting with IT issues (liaising with external support when needed)
Supporting ISO audits and compliance processes (presenting information, keeping documentation up to date)
Providing additional administrative support across different departments as required
What Were Looking For

Previous experience in an office coordinator, office manager, or senior admin role
Highly organised with the ability to manage a wide range of tasks
Confident communicator who can deal with people at all levels
Proactive and able to take ownership of the office environment
Comfortable being the go-to person for day-to-day issues
Good IT skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly
Desirable

Experience supporting audits or working with ISO/compliance processes
Experience liaising with external suppliers or contractors
Basic understanding of office IT setups / troubleshooting
