Total Staff Services are looking to recruit a QC Release Officer for our client based in Runcorn.
Reporting to the QC Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting product release activities while ensuring compliance with established quality systems, cGMP, and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review batch documentation as part of the product release process to confirm compliance with product specifications
Determine product disposition (release to market, internal use, or rejection)
Support investigations into non-conformities that may impact product quality or the release process
Contribute to QC team KPIs, including efficiency and On Time In Full (OTIF) performance
Support continuous improvement of quality systems to ensure regulatory compliance
Compile Certificates of Conformance as required
Maintain accurate records within Quality Assurance databases
Liaise with other departments to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS)
Ensure outsourced products are processed efficiently, including completing relevant SAP transactions
Experience & Qualifications
Degree in a Life Science subject or relevant experience within Quality Control or Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industry
Minimum 2 years experience in Quality Control, or strong cGMP experience within pharmaceutical production
Experience with aseptic operations or aseptic compounding is desirable
Good understanding of GMP requirements, particularly for aseptically produced products as outlined in the Orange Guide
